Now home to many artefacts associated with the poet and his family, this room is thought to be where Robert Burns died on 21st July 1796.

Walking Stick

This thorn walking stick belonged to Robert Burns during the time he lived in Dumfries. He led a busy life here, with a full time job as an Excise Officer and a promising writing career. He also took an active part in the society of the town.
