Burns Bedroom

The larger of the two bedrooms, it most probable that Jean Armour Burns, the poet’s wife, would have occupied this room when heavily pregnant. Burns’ small study is annexed to this room.

Study Study Desk Desk And Chair

In this compact study Burns committed many of his thoughts to paper. The windows allow a lot of light to flood the room for reading and writing and would have provided the poet with a good view of town life. Burns inscribed his signature on one pane of glass, still visible today.
